Speaking is a face-to-face interview lasting 11–14 minutes. It is the same for Academic and General Training.

Part by part
Part 1 is a short interview about familiar topics such as work, study and hobbies. In Part 2 you speak about a cue-card topic after one minute of preparation. Part 3 is a deeper discussion linked to the Part 2 topic.

- Pronunciation
Tips
- Extend answers with a reason and an example.
- Use your Part 2 minute to note keywords, not full sentences.
- It is fine to ask the examiner to repeat a question.

Does accent affect my Speaking score?
No. Pronunciation is about being easy to understand, not about having a particular accent.
